For students trying to pave their way into reputable institutions, face-to-face counseling sessions with university ambassadors prove especially beneficial. BCP Qasimabad tries its level-best to arrange such conferences so that the pupils can employ an eclectic perspective when finalizing their universities, comparing multiple majors and countries against one another, and settling for nothing but the best. In the same essence, a meeting was organized with ambassadors of Asia Pacific University in Malaysia. Mr. Shozab Abbas exhibited extreme professionalism and dedication in explaining the perks of studying at APU to our A-Level students.

To make the meeting as engaging as possible, it commenced with a brief video introducing campus life. Hosting students from over 130 countries, APU promises a multicultural and diverse environment. The counselor also explained various advantages of pursuing an undergrad in Malaysia, including the fact that it offers a top-tier education alongside being more budget-friendly in marked contrast to other nations. Malaysia being an Islamic country also minimizes the effects of cultural shock. What adds glory to the name of APU is the fact that it has a large student body, with more than 10k graduates since 1994. It is featured in the top 30 universities in Asia.

Mr. Shozab Abbas put forth the prerequisites required for application. Then, a deep dive was taken into the range of undergraduate programs offered by APU. What stood out were multiple unique degree combinations, for instance, the psychology major coupled with artificial intelligence. Specializing in computing, technology, and finance-related majors, the university proposes a multitude of fields to opt from. Another highlight of the institution was the double-degree program being offered. In alliance with De Montford University, UK-oriented programs are accessed by students based in Malaysia. Known for its outclass computing courses, the university extends its masterstroke to teaching the most up-to-date areas of study such as VR/AR and cybersecurity. Images of APU’s one-of-their-kind cybersecurity rooms were included in the presentation, whereby students can witness live cybersecurity attacks. On-campus partnerships and collaborations also caught the students’ attention. After completing 2 years of study at APU, students are presented with the avenue to attend internships with unparalleled companies such as Microsoft.

APU’s sports facilities were discussed thoroughly. After giving a run-down of several majors at the institution, the counselor took the students through the application process and gave an overview of financial awards, as well as the academic profile needed to unlock them. On-campus facilities, such as the top-notch, distinctive library, were also part of the presentation. To conclude the engaging session, one-on-one queries were addressed.

The keen interest displayed by both, the counselor and the students, was testimony to how fruitful the session had proven. As the pupils continue their lookout for the most well-suited institution, we hope maximum guidance is provided by similar sessions.
