Letter recognition is the most basic element of any language. Without letter recognition, it will be difficult to recognize words or sentences. Beyond just learning the alphabet, there are ways for early readers to learn to be able to read quickly and efficiently. Learning letters of the alphabet, sounds and their relevant vocabulary can be a fun activity for Early Years through play and hands-on activities.

Pre-Nursery students learned the letter ‘f’, its sound and relevant vocabulary through different activities. Students practiced the letter-name, the sound, and the corresponding action in an active and engaging way — with a song.
