Cooperative learning in Middle School Math classes can be an effective way to engage reluctant learners and help advanced learners build communication and cooperation skills. The key to making this work is to implement cooperative learning activities at the right time to maximize student learning potential.
Hence, the students of Class: VII-A assessed each other’s knowledge related to calculating HCF and LCM by using prime factorization and exponential method through an interactive group activity in which each group designed questions for the other group, checked and alloted marks on the basis of their concepts and presentations of work. It was a lively and challenging experience for the learners.
