By Aman ul Haq, Grade 9 โ WWF Eco Internship
Hi everyone! ๐
I’m Aman ul Haq, a Grade 9 student and part of the WWF Eco Internship Program. Iโm super excited to share what my team and I have been doing to help protect the environment!
On July 27th, we kicked off our day bright and early at 8 am with a beach cleanup at Seaview! ๐๏ธ Armed with gloves, trash bags, and lots of energy, we spent 1 hour and 30 minutes picking up plastic bottles, wrappers, and other waste from the sand. It felt amazing to be out there making a real difference!
But thatโs not all โ we didnโt just throw the plastic away. Weโre collecting these items to reuse creatively. Students at SOS Village will turn them into art and educational materials! ๐จ๐ Isnโt that cool?
Next up, our mission continues in the Korangi Area, where weโll be visiting schools to talk to younger students about land pollution and how recycling can lead to amazing things. We hope to inspire them to care for the planet and maybe even create their own eco-art! ๐๐ก
This journey has really opened my eyes to the impact we can make, even as students. Iโm proud to be doing my part and encourage everyone reading this to take action too โ even small steps can lead to big change!
Stay green and keep making a difference!ย ๐
