Leadership isn’t just learned—it’s lived! Over the past two weeks, our campus was electrified by the rigorous, fun, and empowering process of electing our new House Captains (Class 2) and House Vice Captains (Class 1). This series of events was a masterclass in democracy, public speaking, and school spirit!

Step One: Courage and Commitment

The process began with the brave act of self-nomination. We were so proud to see so many young students step forward, ready to take on the responsibility of leadership. Following the nominations, candidates went through a round of interviews. This crucial step helped students practice expressing their goals and commitment, allowing them to truly reflect on what it means to lead their Houses.

The Campaign Trail: Fun, Interactive, and Energetic!

Once the final candidates were selected, the atmosphere shifted to pure excitement! The campaigning period was a thrilling display of enthusiasm and creativity. Our candidates—with the support of their classmates—designed posters, delivered inspiring speeches, and engaged with every student. The campaigning was highly interactive, energetic, and enthusiastic, making the entire school feel invested in the outcome. It was a wonderful opportunity for the candidates to hone their communication skills and connect directly with their voters.

Election Day: Democracy in Action

The climax of the campaign came with the much-anticipated Election Days. Every student, from the youngest pre-schooler to the oldest primary student, played their part as responsible citizens. We moved into the digital age with great success, as students cast their votes for their favorite candidates through e-voting terminals.

This digital election provided an authentic, modern experience in exercising the fundamental right to vote, ensuring the process was fair, efficient, and incredibly exciting for the young electorate!

The Proud Moment: Investiture Day

The journey culminated in the Investiture Day ceremony—a truly proud and solemn moment for students, parents, and teachers alike. In the presence of the entire school community, our newly elected leaders stepped forward.

One by one, the House Captains and Vice Captains took their oath of office, pledging to uphold the values of the school, serve their Houses with dedication, and lead by example. The ceremony reached its emotional peak as the elected students were officially adorned with their sashes, signifying their new, important roles.

This day was a powerful reminder that leadership starts early, and we are confident that this cohort of young leaders will guide their Houses with immense integrity and energy throughout the year! Congratulations to all our candidates and to our newly elected House Captains and Vice Captains!
