Setting the Stage for Success: Our Whole-School Parent Orientation Sessions

A new academic year always comes with a mix of excitement and questions — new books, new routines, new expectations. To help our families feel confident and prepared right from the start, we hosted a series of Orientation sessions this year, spanning every level from Pre-Nursery to Lower Primary, and delivered through a thoughtful blend of online and face-to-face formats.

And the response, across the board, was wonderful.

We know that every family’s schedule, comfort level, and preference looks a little different — which is exactly why this year’s orientations were designed with flexibility at their core.

From our youngest Pre-Nursery families taking their very first steps into school life, to our Lower Primary parents settling into a new year of routines and expectations, each session was tailored to meet parents exactly where their child’s journey currently stands.

That thoughtful, level-specific approach clearly resonated. Feedback collected across sessions was overwhelmingly positive, with the vast majority of parents rating their experience as **”Excellent”** or **”Good,”** and — notably — **every single parent** who responded confirmed that the sessions were genuinely beneficial.
