The air at Early Years Campus, Malir was filled with a special kind of sparkle and sweetness on Friday April 11, 2025 due to the joyous celebration of Eid Milan party! Our Early Years and Lower Primary students arrived in a dazzling array of traditional Eid attire, their vibrant colours reflecting the festive spirit that filled our classrooms and hallways.

From tiny shalwar kameezes adorned with intricate embroidery to beautifully patterned frocks, our young learners looked absolutely radiant, embodying the beauty and cultural richness of Eid. The pride in their eyes as they showed off their special outfits was truly heartwarming.

The morning began with warm greetings of “Eid Mubarak” echoing throughout the school. Students eagerly shared stories of their Eid celebrations at home – the delicious feasts, the exciting Eidi, and the joy of spending time with family. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to connect with their peers and share their cultural traditions.

Of course, no Eid celebration is complete without delicious treats! Our classrooms transformed into mini-feasting areas as students shared an array of homemade and store-bought goodies. From sweet mithai to savory snacks, the tables overflowed with love and generosity. Sharing these treats wasn’t just about the food; it was about the spirit of giving and togetherness that Eid embodies.

The fun didn’t stop at the snacks! Our energetic Early Years and Lower Primary students engaged in a variety of joyful games and activities. Laughter filled the air as they participated in musical chairs, a gentle version of “passing the parcel” with small Eid-themed prizes, simple craft activities like making Eid cards or decorating paper lanterns. The sheer delight on their faces as they played together, cheered each other on, and celebrated every little victory was infectious.

More than just fun and games, the day was about creating lasting memories. The snapshots of children beaming in their Eid finery, sharing treats with their friends, and giggling during games will undoubtedly be cherished. These shared experiences help build a strong sense of community and belonging within our school family.

The Eid Milan party was a beautiful reminder of the values that Eid teaches us: joy, sharing, togetherness, and gratitude. It was a day where cultural traditions were celebrated, friendships were strengthened, and precious memories were made.

Eid Mubarak to all our families! May your celebrations continue to be filled with happiness, peace, and blessings. We are so grateful to have such a vibrant and joyful community at Early Years Campus, Malir.
