Celebrating Grandparents’ Week at Early Years Malir

This week, the Early Years Campus Malir celebrated Grandparents’ Week with tremendous zeal and warmth. The campus came alive with the presence of some very special guests — our learners’ grandparents — who were lovingly invited and honoured as part of this heartfelt celebration.

Stories That Bridged Generations

At the heart of the week was storytelling. Grandparents took center stage, sharing tales from their own childhoods and treasured family stories with our young learners. The children listened with wide eyes and open hearts, soaking in every word. These weren’t just stories — they were living lessons in history, culture, and love, passed down in the most personal way possible.

Handmade Souvenirs, Handmade Love

In return, our little ones poured their creativity and affection into handmade souvenirs, crafted especially for their grandparents. Each keepsake carried a piece of the children’s hearts, a small but meaningful token of gratitude and love for the wisdom and warmth shared with them.

A Week to Cherish

Every moment of the celebration was cherished — by grandparents beaming with pride and joy, and by children delighted to have their grandparents as part of their school world for a while. The laughter, the stories, and the shared moments created memories that will stay with everyone long after the week came to an end.

Grandparents’ Week at Early Years Malir was a beautiful reminder of the deep bond between generations, and how such connections enrich a child’s early learning journey.
