The sun shone a little brighter over Early Years Campus Malir this week as our youngest champions took to the field for Sports Fest 2026. From our tiny Toddlers to our energetic Grade 2 students, the day was a breathtaking display of talent, discipline, and—most importantly—heart.
Alhamdullilah, the event was a resounding success, leaving parents and teachers alike beaming with pride.
A Digital & Green Beginning
We kicked things off with a twist! Moving away from traditional ceremonies, our Digitalized Inauguration invited parents to be part of the action. Using interactive platforms, parents took a collective Pledge for Sustainability.
The response was overwhelming: a record number of parents committed to planting new trees or expanding their home gardens. It was a beautiful reminder that while we grow athletes, we must also protect the earth they run on.
Field Highlights: From Zen to Power
The diversity of talent on display was nothing short of spectacular. Our students proved that they are well-rounded individuals, mastering everything from silent focus to high-energy combat arts.
Yoga & Aerobics: The morning began with the serene poses of our Yoga practitioners, followed by the high-octane rhythm of Aerobics. The coordination shown by the Grade 1 and 2 cohorts was truly impressive!
Gymnastics: Our little gymnasts tumbled and stretched with a flexibility that left the audience gasping.
Choir & Band: The air was filled with melody as our school choir and band provided the perfect rhythms to the festivities.
Taekwondo: Precision and power were front and center as students demonstrated their kicks and blocks, showcasing the discipline they’ve worked so hard to achieve.
The Grand Finale: The Track Events
The energy reached a fever pitch during the Track Events. Whether it was the Toddlers’ adorable dash or the competitive sprints of the Grade 2 students, the “Sports Fest 2026” spirit was alive.
While the winners took home medals, the real victory belonged to those who didn’t reach the finish line first. The sportsman spirit was the highlight of the day; we saw students cheering for their peers, helping friends who tripped, and congratulating winners with genuine smiles.
