“Be a voice for the voiceless”
We should create a world where humans and animals co-exist in sustainable ecosystems.
Universal Children’s Day was celebrated with a difference this year. We decided that it was time we give something back to the community – and what better way than to start off with helping out and taking responsibility of the silent creatures.
We invited Awaz e Bezuban, an NGO run by students, creating an awareness about care of animals. They briefed our students about the importance of being kind to the voiceless and what they could do to help strays in their area.
The children made cat shelters and decorated them enthusiastically. No matter how small our initiative was, we’re sure it will leave a lasting impact on these little minds and they will continue to further spread this very crucial awareness, while being proactive to the cause themselves.
We should always remember that whether we work in animal welfare or have adopted or fostered a pet, we are making a difference. Thank you to everyone who is helping to save these innocent lives. Let’s build on what we’ve accomplished and Save Them All.
After all, we need to live up to being named Ashraf ul Makhlooqaat…we need to do our bit and, we have to start somewhere so why not now!! HAPPY UNIVERSAL CHILDREN’S DAY!
