As part of our current transdisciplinary theme \u201cHow We Express Ourselves”<\/strong> and our exploration of signs and symbols, while taking action on the first line of inquiry \u201cthe purpose of signs and symbols\u201d, one of our learner M. Hazaam of PYP Kindergarten C<\/strong>, truly stood out.<\/p>\n

Hazaam, who keeps rabbits at home, designed a thoughtful sign that reads, “Do not put your hands in the rabbit’s burrow\u2014it can harm you.” This simple yet powerful message not only shows his learning and understanding of safety but also how signs and symbols work together to communicate important ideas. His sign is a perfect example of how we can use symbols to express complex messages and protect those we care about.<\/p>\n

Watching these young minds connect their personal experiences with what they learn in class and then turning that knowledge into something tangible and meaningful.<\/p>\n
