It is observed to remember the bravery, courage, and sacrifices of the Pakistani armed forces and the people who defended their country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On 6th September 1965, Pakistan faced a war with India. The Pakistani armed forces showed great courage and determination in defending the country. Defence Day reminds us of the sacrifices made<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0by soldiers who protected Pakistan with their lives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On this day, special ceremonies are held across the country. People visit the graves and memorials of martyrs and pay tribute to them. Television channels broadcast special programs, documentaries, and patriotic songs. Schools and colleges also organize speeches, debates, and other activities to teach students about the importance of patriotism and national unity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Defence Day is not only about remembering a war; it is also about appreciating the dedication of those who serve and protect the nation. It teaches us the values of courage, unity, discipline, and love for our country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Let us always remember our martyrs and honour their sacrifices.
