It means completing simple daily tasks, such as doing chores, dressing themselves, eating independently, and completing homework on their own.<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Independence also means being able to make small decisions and learning from mistakes along the way. When a child learns to become independent, they gain confidence and develop the ability to make better choices. However, independence does not mean that a child should never ask for help. Instead, it means trying their best first and reaching out for guidance when it is truly needed.<\/h6>\n<h6 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Parents and teachers can encourage independence by giving children responsibilities that match their age and abilities. For a child, this can feel exciting and make them feel proud because it shows that their parents, teachers, and other adults trust them. This trust helps children become more confident, responsible, and prepared for the future.<\/h6>\n<h6>Learning to be independent is an important part of growing into a capable and responsible person.
