As the sky tinted with the blue hue and white flocks of sheep roamed around it, BCP North Nazimabad, started its engaging occasion, a Scrabble contest for the enthusiastic students to spark it with their wisdom and knowledge on Saturday, 29th January 2022. The chief guest Mr. Tariq Pervez, Director Youth Program, Pakistan Scrabble Association made out time from his busy schedule and came to partake in the auspicious event.

The hosts began the event with a beautiful Quran Recitation which was recited by a fellow student and was followed by a speech from Ms. Fauzia Fatima. She gave her words of encouragement to the students. Then started the game that candidates awaited to compete in. Seeking, contemplating and pondering on the words as the clock ticked and seconds passed. As the bell indicated to stop, the pens were down in anticipation and started the judge’s verdict.

Finalists were selected. The participants sat anxiously as to who won. The highest rankers, from first to third, were selected from O Levels and A levels both, as the hosts announced their names to come upon the stage to collect the medals and shields. In the A Levels category Noor un Nisa from BCP Gulshan won the first prize, Second prize was won by Saad Saleem from our campus and Ali Amir of BCP PECHS won the third prize. In the O levels category Azlan Qazi from North Nazimabad O Level Commerce won the first prize followed by Sara Fatima from North Nazimabad Middle and Usman Shaukat won the third prize from Gulshan Cambridge branch. They ascended proudly as if they had won a lottery and stood smiling as the rewards were given to them. A round of applause was heard from their friends, congratulating them on winning.

After that a souvenir, a beautiful shield was presented to Mr. Tariq Pervez by Mam Fauzia. He thanked and grinned, indicating jubilance. Then since no memoir gets completed without a click of the memory decorated in a picture, the hosts called upon the participants for a group photo. Followed by that, the announcement was made for the participants to collect their certificates from Ms. Fauzia and just like that a peaceful event came to its end.
