Speedy Sprinters 2022

The spirit of friendly competition came alive on the annual sports ‘Speedy Sprinters 2022’ of Beaconhouse School System Jauhar KG II. Children participated in a wide range of sporting activities, cheered their teammates and learned valuable lessons in sportsmanship.  The chief guest for the event was Mr. Samiullah Khan – the flying horse of Pakistan who proudly declared the games open followed by a mesmerizing opening ceremony. Next came the walk past by the students of Toddlers, Pre Nursery and Nursery, trailed by an enthralling PE display. Taekwondo, Yoga, Gymnastics and Aerobics by the students of lower primary followed. Breath taking moments were captured and created a memory for all. The most awaited part of the sports day was the track events. Students participated in different races like, ‘get ready for the party’, ‘hula hoop lasso’, ‘hurdle race’, ‘teddy bear race’ and ‘super hero race’. Winners were awarded with medals by the chief guest. Finally, came the parents race. Students were thrilled to see their parents on the tracks. Gymnasium echoed with cheers for moms and dads. The sports day was a great opportunity for parents and children to enjoy a healthy and active day out, apart from the daily classroom routine. The day was full of excitement that ended with happy students and smiling parents. Students were all happy to go home with a medal! Winning is not everything, but the will to win is!
