On March 6th our school celebrated International Women’s Day with the theme Empowerment and Icons. It was a special day that was full of reflection, inspiration and joy.
We started the day with a talk about women’s empowerment. Our teachers and staff shared their thoughts on why women’s empowerment is so important and how we can support each other to build a better future for every woman. This discussion was not about saying things. It was about sharing what we really feel and think.
We also took some time to think about all the things Pakistani women have achieved. We learned about women who’re leaders, artists and scientists and who have played a big role in shaping our history. Discussing their journeys reminded us all of the resilience and talent that define the women of our country.

Then we did something fun. Our staff played games together , laughed and just enjoyed each other’s company. It was a thing to do and it really brought everyone together.
A special highlight of the day was the distribution of gifts. Each lady was presented with a beautiful gift from our school head Ms Sumera Savez, a thoughtful token of appreciation that was received with great joy. To conclude the festivities, a powerful closing message was shared by our staff, encouraging everyone to carry the spirit of empowerment and mutual respect into our daily lives and classrooms.![]()
We ended the day by reminding ourselves to carry the spirit of International Women’s Day with us and to remember the importance of women’s empowerment every day, not just on International Women’s Day.
At our school, we believe that by honoring the achievements of women, both past and present, we inspire the next generation to lead with confidence. We thank everyone who participated in making this celebration so memorable and heartfelt.![]()
