Ramadan is a month of love and care and to highlight its importance an activity was organized on 27th February 2026, at Beaconhouse Early years campus block 14, Jauhar by KG Level: Bhalu ki Roza kushai, leaving it a memorable and delightful experience for learners to witness.
Students of Kindergarten showed immense happiness and enthusiasm as they celebrated in a fun and child-friendly way by wearing traditional coloured outfits along with, bringing their favourite stuffed toy from home.
The presence of beautifully arranged dastarkhwan-style seating helped children experience the true meaning of iftar in a meaningful way. The highlight of the event was the thoughtfully arranged “Bhalu ki Roza Kushai” corner, where a delightful display of teddy bears and gifts symbolized the celebration of a child’s first fast. This engaging setup not only captured the children’s attention but also helped them connect emotionally with the concept. The use of visuals and hands-on experience allowed learners to better understand the significance of fasting in a fun and relatable manner.
The event began with an introduction to the importance of Ramzan, helping students understand the values of gratitude, patience and kindness. Teachers created an engaging environment through interactive discussions making the concept easy and enjoyable for our young learners. A special setup was arranged where students participated in the Roza kushai ceremony: learnt the importance of dua and the opening of fast which made them confident and motivated. They were appreciated for taking their first steps towards understanding fasting.
The joy on their faces reflected their excitement and sense of achievement while the cheerful participation of students, along with their bright traditional attire, added colour and liveliness to the event.
Students enjoyed sharing their favourite snacks with their friends depicting the spirit of togetherness and iftar. The joyful moments with their friends and teachers were captured and preserved creating a long-lasting memory for them. Bhalu ki roza Kushai was a fun filled celebration. It was an impactful learning experience that blended religion with tradition and creativity. The activity successfully created lasting memories while instilling important values in our little learners, making Ramzan even more special for them.
