Here\u2019s a glimpse of what we look forward to:<br \/>\nLearner Attributes<br \/>\nIn the 2nd term, we aim to foster the 8 key attributes in our students:<br \/>\nCreative &amp;amp; Innovative: We will encourage imagination through project-based learning (e.g.,<br \/>\ndesigning a dream playground).<br \/>\nAnalytical: Students will solve puzzles and explore \u201cwhat-if\u201d scenarios.<br \/>\nResolute: We\u2019ll teach goal-setting with fun challenges (e.g., \u201cRead at least 3 words daily by<br \/>\nsegmenting and blending this week!\u201d).<br \/>\nInquisitive: Open-ended questions will spark curiosity (e.g., \u201cHow does a plant grow?\u201d).<br \/>\nEmpathetic: Role-playing will help students understand and express diverse emotions.<br \/>\nGlobally Aware: We\u2019ll explore cultures via stories and festivals.<br \/>\nEthical: Discussions on fairness and honesty will be part of our lessons.<br \/>\nHealthy &amp;amp; Active: Learning will blend with movement (Math hopscotch, Science scavenger<br \/>\nhunts).<br \/>\nLearner Agency<br \/>\nWe look forward to:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Giving voice and choice to students in topics, methods, learning stations, resources, or<br \/>\npace (e.g., \u201cDo you want to write or draw about the story?\u201d).<br \/>\n&#8211; Creating a Student Voice corner for sharing ideas and feedback.<br \/>\n&#8211; Co-creating weekly goals with students and tracking progress together.<br \/>\n&#8211; Letting students decide how to present their work (poster, video).<br \/>\n&#8211; Encouraging self-assessment: How did I do?
