Turkey , a country that straddles Europe and Asia, is a treasure of history, culture and natural beauty. From the bustling streets of Istanbul especially Istiklal street to the stunning landscape of Cappadocia to the peaceful coastal city of Anatalya and most importantly the city of Mulana Jalaluddin Rumi Koniya, Turkey has something to offer every kind of traveller.

Last year I visited Turkey with my family. It was our official trip to Istanbul but we transformed the opportunity into a joyride. We were invited by the High Commissioner of Pakistan in Istanbul. That was also a great experience for us to visit the High commission office of Pakistan.

Right after that meeting we Flew to the Coastal city Anatalya. A beautiful coastal city with a rich history, stunning beaches and vibrant nightlife.Everyone was busy in their own chores peacefully. I feel good vibes from that city. By the way, it is a personal feeling about that city.

After exploring the city we went to Cappadocia. A surreal landscape of Fairy chimney, hot air balloon rides and ancient cave dwellings. The Hot Air Balloon ride was a lifetime experience for us. But at the same time I promise myself not to ride again because it is scary too.
And how I forget the city of Rumi “Konya”. The city carries Rumi’s legacy. We visited Rumi’s Tomb, explored the old city and tried local cuisine.

Our last destination was Istanbul.We Visited Topkapi and its beautiful garden, Grand bazar, famous Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Enjoyed a relaxing boat on the Bosphorus Strait,Cruise dinner and trip to Princess Island.

Every moment of our trip was pure joy from the stunning scenery to the warm hospitality.
