The Countless Blessings of Ramadan
Ayesha – IV-C
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It’s observed by Muslims all around the world as a month of fasting. It’s important to have one month like this so we could understand how to control our desires.
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala rewards us seventy times more for every good deed we do during the month. He gives us more reasons to pray with Taraweeh and the night of Laylatul Qadr also comes during the month. This night is better than thousand months.
We should do maximum donations and help the poor. We can distribute food as well.
There are many health benefits of Fasting. Not eating the whole day and avoiding junk food during Sehri/Iftari helps us reduce weight, improves our blood sugar and many other benefits.
I started fasting at the age of eight and I feel that it helps me to be a better person. Ramadan is truly a blessing for all Muslims.
