Hello, enthusiastic explorers!

Today, we are thrilled to share the highlights of our Lighthouse Team meeting held on Tuesday—a truly inspiring and meaningful experience for all of us. The meeting took place with our respected School Head, Miss Sonia Rizwan, under the guidance and supervision of our Lighthouse Team Incharges, Miss Sabeen and Miss Qurat-ul-Ain.

The session was filled with energy, responsibility, and teamwork as we came together to plan something special for our school community. To ensure that every student’s needs were thoughtfully considered, we bifurcated ourselves into Early Years, Lower Primary, and Upper Primary groups. This helped us plan age-appropriate, safe, and engaging excursions for all learners.

Each group carried out research, discussed possible destinations, and carefully considered important factors such as learning outcomes, student engagement, safety measures, logistics, and supervision—especially keeping in mind our younger students. Being responsible for planning not just for ourselves but also for younger children made us realize how important thoughtful decision-making is. We reflected on possible challenges, safety concerns, and the impact our choices could have, which truly helped us grow as responsible leaders.

After meaningful discussions and collaborative brainstorming, we shortlisted the top three excursion options. With so many exciting ideas on the table, choosing just one was not easy! To ensure inclusivity and value parent voice, we decided to create a Google Form to gather input from our supportive parents. The destination receiving the highest number of votes will become our next adventure.

Meeting with Miss Sonia today and working closely under the supervision of Miss Sabeen and Miss Qurat-ul-Ain was an empowering experience. It made us feel trusted, heard, and motivated. Planning together, sharing ideas, and taking responsibility for the entire school community—especially the younger students—was both exciting and eye-opening.

Stay tuned to find out where we are headed next!
We are super excited to embark on this journey together, learning not just outside the classroom, but also about leadership, responsibility, and teamwork.

The adventure has just begun! 🚀
