Planet Earth – Our Amazing Home

Earth is a very, very old planet. In fact, it’s about 4.6 billion years old!
At first, there was no life at all on Earth. For a whole billion years, the planet was just empty—no plants, no animals, nothing.
Then, around 3.5 billion years ago, life finally began. The first tiny living things appeared in the sea. Much later, about 510 million years ago, new kinds of animals also started living in the ocean.
Isn’t it amazing how life slowly began and grew on Earth? Our planet has come a long way—and it’s still full of surprises!
