In Pre Nursery A, our little learners are practising their daily routine with confidence and excitement. Each day begins with attendance, where our β€œHelper of the Day” proudly takes responsibility for placing the peg on Circle Time. This special role helps children feel valued and important in the classroom.
We follow the order of students according to their names displayed on the Beams, which helps them recognise their names and understand turn-taking. This routine supports name recognition, patience, and orderly participation during different classroom activities.
Our visual timetable further supports students in understanding what comes next. As the day progresses, the Helper moves the peg to the next subject, guiding friends smoothly from Circle Time to CLL, Math, Art, Music, and Free Play. This daily practice strengthens their understanding of sequence and builds time awareness in a meaningful way.
Through consistent routines, students are learning to transition calmly between activities. They are responding to instructions, organising their materials, and preparing themselves independently. Responsibilities such as lining up properly and helping with the distribution of lunch mats are building discipline, confidence, leadership skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
We are proud to see our little learners becoming more confident, responsible, and independent every day. Step by step, they are growing into active and responsible classroom members, developing habits that will support their learning journey ahead.
