At BSS Elementary Campus P.E.C.H.S., swimming classes have been a core part of the students’ learning experience, teaching essential water skills, building confidence, and encouraging fitness. These classes, offered to students from Classes III to V, are carefully designed to match each age group’s abilities, making swimming both a fun and valuable part of their school routine.<\/span><\/p>\n

For Class III students, swimming begins with \u201cStroke Fundamentals.\u201d Here, they start learning freestyle techniques, focusing on arm movements, kicking, and breath control. This stage emphasizes the importance of body alignment and coordination, helping them glide smoothly across the pool while building their confidence in the water.<\/span><\/p>\n

By Class IV, students advance to \u201cFreestyle Mastery,\u201d where they develop more complex techniques and focus on maintaining stamina. Alongside drills and group activities, they practice turns and work on coordination, allowing them to swim longer distances with improved form and control.<\/span><\/p>\n

Class V students reach the final level with \u201cCompetitive Skills.\u201d In this advanced class, they refine their strokes, practicing flip turns and learning diving techniques. They build endurance through laps and start learning race skills, such as pacing and efficient breathing, setting a strong foundation for competitive swimming.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our swimming classes go beyond physical skills, also reinforcing confidence, discipline, and perseverance. Beaconhouse\u2019s approach to swimming ensures that students are equipped with lifelong skills, fostering growth both in and out of the pool. Through these classes, students not only learn the essentials of swimming but also develop valuable life skills in teamwork, resilience, and goal-setting.<\/span><\/p>\n
