What a spectacular week it was at Elementary Campus PECHS! To celebrate Literary Week 2025, our students from Pre-Nursery to Class V dived into a world of imagination, letters, and storytelling.<\/span><\/p>\n

From tiny tots discovering the magic of the alphabet to our senior elementary students reimagining classic tales, the campus was buzzing with creativity. Here is a look at how each level brought literature to life:<\/span><\/p>\n

Early Years: Discovery and Magic<\/b><\/p>\n

The foundation of literacy starts with wonder, and our youngest learners had plenty of it!<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Pre-Nursery<\/b>: Students engaged in a Mystery Bag\/Magic Box activity, using their senses to identify objects and build early vocabulary.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Nursery<\/b>: Our little explorers took part in a Scavenger Hunt for Letters, searching high and low to recognize the building blocks of language.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Kindergarten (KG):<\/b> The magic of theater met storytelling with a Shadow Puppet Story session that captivated every child\u2019s imagination.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lower Primary: Building Blocks of Language<\/b><\/p>\n

As students move into Class I and II, the focus shifts to using words in fun, functional ways.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Class I:<\/b> It was a high-energy day with the Word Hunt Game. After finding hidden words tucked away around the classroom, students practiced their grammar by crafting original sentences.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Class II:<\/b> Creativity was on full display as students designed Bookmarks, filling them with fun words to accompany them on their future reading adventures.<\/span><\/p>\n

Upper Primary: Expression and Innovation<\/b><\/p>\n

Our older students explored the deeper impact of reading and the power of their own authorial voices.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Class III:<\/b> To advocate for literacy, students participated in Poster Making. They designed visual campaigns centered on the theme: \u201cWhy Reading is Important\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Class IV<\/b>: It was a battle of the wits during the Literary Quiz, where students tested their knowledge of books, authors, and language.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Class V:<\/b> Our aspiring authors took part in Tale Twist. This creative writing journey challenged students to take well-known stories and give them an entirely new perspective or ending.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Reading is a discount ticket to everywhere.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0This week, our students proved that through books and activities, they can travel anywhere their minds take them.<\/span><\/p>\n
