At the Elementary Campus PECHS, continuous learning and personal growth remain at the heart of our school culture. In line with this vision, a comprehensive training session on The Leader in Me program and the <\/span>7 Habits of Highly Effective People<\/b> was conducted for the support staff by the School Head, Ms. Sumera Savez November 14, 2025. The session aimed to introduce leader in me program, encourage responsibility, and promote a positive and proactive mindset among all members of the school community.<\/span><\/p>\n

The training began with an introduction to The Leader in Me philosophy, emphasizing the belief that leadership is not limited to titles or positions but is a quality that can be nurtured in every individual. Participants were guided to reflect on their roles within the school and understand how their daily actions contribute significantly to the smooth functioning and positive environment of the campus. The session highlighted the importance of self-awareness, teamwork, accountability, and mutual respect.<\/span><\/p>\n

The core of the training focused on the <\/span>7 Habits of Highly Effective People<\/b>, presented in an interactive and practical manner. Each habit was introduced with clear explanations, followed by hands-on activities that allowed participants to experience and internalize the concepts. Activities were thoughtfully designed to help participants understand habits such as being proactive, beginning with the end in mind, and putting first things first, in ways that directly connected to their responsibilities at school.<\/span><\/p>\n

Real-life scenarios played an important role throughout the session. Participants discussed common workplace situations and explored how applying the 7 Habits could lead to better decision-making, improved communication, and stronger teamwork. These discussions encouraged open sharing of experiences, allowing staff members to learn from one another while gaining confidence in applying the habits in their daily routines.<\/span><\/p>\n

The training also placed strong emphasis on habits related to collaboration and continuous improvement, such as thinking win-win, seeking first to understand, synergizing, and sharpening the saw. Through group discussions, participants experienced how empathy, cooperation, and self-care contribute to both personal well-being and a supportive work environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Overall, the Leader in Me training proved to be a meaningful and impactful experience for the support staff of Elementary Campus PECHS. The session reinforced the idea that every individual plays a vital leadership role in shaping a positive, respectful, and effective school culture. <\/span><\/p>\n
