The Beaconhouse School System’s Elementary Campus in PECHS recently hosted a heartwarming Qirat competition, where students of Class V showcased their exceptional talent in reciting the Holy Quran. The event, held under the supervision of the Inter-Cluster, provided a platform for young learners to demonstrate their deep understanding and appreciation of Islamic teachings by organizing Qirat Competition. The school seeks to instill a deep-rooted love for the Quran and Islamic values among its students.

Phase 1: School-Based Section Wise Auditions

The competition began with an intra-school based recitation session, where all the fifth-grade students had the opportunity to participate. A panel of judges, including Mam Sumera, Ms.Tooba, and Ms.Yasmeen, carefully assessed each student’s performance. After careful evaluation, the selected students moved forward to the next round.

Phase 2: Intra-Cluster Recitation

The second phase of the competition, the Intra-Cluster Recitation Session. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from fifth-grade students. Each student, with passion and dedication, recited verses from the Quran, demonstrating their knowledge of Tajweed and their ability to convey the divine message with eloquence.

The judges, comprising experienced individuals, carefully assessed each participant based on their recitation skills, pronunciation, intonation, and overall presentation.

After careful deliberation, the following students emerged as the winners:

First Place: Muhammad Umer Sajid

Runner-Up: Muhammad Kabir

Second Runner-Up: Fabiha

These talented students have brought immense pride to their school and their families with their exceptional performances. Their dedication and hard work are truly commendable. While these three students will move on to represent the school in the upcoming Phase 3: Intra-Clubbed Cluster Recitation Session, we would also like to acknowledge the efforts of all the fifth-grade students who participated in the initial round. Their enthusiasm and commitment to learning the Quran are truly inspiring, even though they may not have advanced to the next phase. We appreciate their efforts in reaching this far, and we hope to see them continue to excel in their future endeavors.
