🌍 Beaconhouse Elementary Campus Celebrates Earth Day with Passion and Purpose
On April 25, 2025 Beaconhouse Elementary Campus PECHS transformed into a hub of creativity, awareness, and action as students and teachers came together to celebrate Earth Day 2025. With the theme of protecting our planet and promoting sustainability, the day was filled with engaging, hands-on activities that helped our young learners connect deeply with the environment. A special highlight of the celebration was the Earth Day Rally led by our enthusiastic Class I learners. In the days leading up to Earth Day, students worked in groups to design colorful, impactful posters on themes like “Save Water”, “Plant More Trees”, and “Say No to Plastic”. On Earth Day, these young changemakers took their message forward by visiting the Early Years classes in small, confident teams. Holding their posters high and speaking with clarity and compassion, they shared simple but powerful messages about how we can all take care of our Earth.
What made this experience truly meaningful was the interactive nature of their visits. Grade 2 and Early Years students were encouraged to ask questions, share their own ideas, and reflect on how they could help the environment at home and in school. The exchange sparked curiosity and inspired even our youngest learners to think like Earth heroes. Beyond the rally, Earth Day activities across the campus included:
Green Pledge Ceremony: Students pledged to reduce waste, conserve resources, and be mindful caretakers of the Earth.
Plantation Drive: Learners planted saplings in the school garden, learning the importance of trees for clean air and a healthy ecosystem.
Eco-Crafts & Recycled Art: Children created innovative crafts using recycled materials, reinforcing the message of reuse and creativity.
At Beaconhouse Elementary Campus, Earth Day is more than just a celebration — it’s a step toward creating lifelong environmental stewards. Our students not only learned about the challenges our planet is facing but also discovered that their actions, no matter how small, can make a big difference. Together, let’s nurture the planet we call home. Happy Earth Day from Beaconhouse! 🌏💚
