Imagine stepping into a classroom where learning goes beyond textbooks, chalkboards, and notebooks. That’s exactly what happened to us when our regular learning classes transformed into digital learning classes, and it was an exciting yet challenging experience. Initially, not everyone could afford Chromebooks, but once everyone managed to purchase them, we began exploring and learning how to use them effectively.
At first, we faced internet issues at school, which made things difficult. Later, our teacher explained why we didn’t have physical Science and Mathematics textbooks—because the books were now digital! The teacher informed us that we needed to purchase a card and enter the code provided to access our digital books.
Once everything was set up, we started using Chromebooks not just for reading books but also for various tasks. In science class, we used them for research projects, and in other subjects such as English, we worked with Padlet links, Jamboard, Canva, Google Docs, Google Forms, Google Slides, and Google Sheets.
This is our digital safar so far, a story of the struggles we faced and the amazing tools we gained to enhance our learning experience. This journey taught us resilience, adaptability, and the power of technology in learning. While it wasn’t easy, it was worth it. Now, as we look to the future, we are excited to see how technology will continue to enhance our education and prepare us for the world ahead.
