This year, our school once again took centre stage in celebrating Earth Day and Earth Hour, showcasing our commitment to environmental stewardship and fostering a culture of eco-awareness among our students and staff.
The Earth Day celebration at BSS Elementary Campus PECHS was a vibrant and engaging event that brought together students, teachers, and parents to honour our planet and explore ways to protect it. The day kicked off with a special assembly, where students showcased their creative talents through skits, songs, and presentations highlighting the importance of environmental conservation.Throughout the day, various eco-friendly activities were organised, allowing students to delve deeper into topics such as recycling, energy conservation, and sustainable living practices. From planting trees in the school garden to crafting artwork from recycled materials, every activity aimed to instil a sense of responsibility towards our planet while empowering students to take positive action.
As the plantation activity started outdoors, our school transitioned into Earth Hour mode, joining millions around the globe in a symbolic gesture of solidarity for the planet. The lights and other electronic devices were switched off as students gathered in the school courtyard.
