Organizing School Events are like welcoming doors where students enter and get to test themselves and reveal what abilities they have which they did not know earlier.

On December 15, 2023, BECP organized a Student Led Conference for the young leaders of Early Years, starting from Toddlers till Kindergarten. Event Started with the recitation and translation of the verses of Quran e Kareem. After that our Head of School, Ms Sumera Savez delivered a welcome note to the audience. Toddlers students showed up the tableau on transportation, our Pre Nursery students embarked on a magical journey through the changing seasons. Dressed in hues of green, yellow, orange, and red, they painted a vivid picture of spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The young performers brought each season to life with their lively movements to the season’s song. Later, Nursery A presented “Jolly Phonics Song”, Nursery B came up with the unavoidable life truth that plantation is part and parcel of our life. KG A students took us on a heartwarming journey with Elmer, the elephant with mismatched squares. Dressed in vibrant patchwork costumes, they delivered a message of acceptance and friendship with adorable innocence. The audience swayed to the rhythmic “Elmer’s Rainbow” song and cheered as Elmer embraced his unique appearance. Our KG B students set sail on an unforgettable adventure with Mr. Gumpy, bringing his quirky tale to life with colorful costumes and infectious energy. The highlight of the performance was undoubtedly the catchy “Row, row, row your boat” song, leaving everyone with a smile. Kindergarteners also performed on “Nou shararti huroof” depicting their importance and functions.

The magic didn’t stop on stage! Parents and students joined forces in the classrooms for a fun-filled “Fish Bowl” activity, a teacher-supported discussion with parents about student progress and learning. This event presented opportunities for students to prepare, reflect on, and discuss evidence of their learning and growth by way of student portfolios. The students told parents about their daily classroom activities, the learning corners in their classroom, favourite part in the school etc.

Refreshments were thoughtfully served to parents, creating a conducive environment for interactions. Post-refreshments, children actively participated in vibrant hands-on activities at different stalls, including matching, missing numbers, reading cards, hopscotch, and various art projects. The joyous atmosphere reflected the enthusiasm of both parents and children alike.

The program concluded on a beautiful note, with parents filling up the comment book with expressions of gratitude and appreciation for the event. It was indeed a day where the school community came together, celebrating not just academic achievements but also fostering a sense of shared joy and involvement in the journey of each student.
