Living for someone else’s peaceful tomorrow is the most honourable aim of life. The ones who do not hold themselves responsible for laying their lives and blood for a better and brighter future are the most prized people. Our Pakistan Armed Forces is one such esteemed institution that works tirelessly to defend and secure the motherland from internal and external threats.
Defence Day or Youm-e-Difa is celebrated on the 6th of September every year to honour and remember the sacrifices of our armed forces over the years to protect us against our enemies and ensure our independence.Events are hosted by the armed forces to celebrate the Defence Day of Pakistan with passion and zeal in every major city.
Beaconhouse Elementary Campus PECHS also celebrated defence day with great zeal where a special assembly was held and the students of Early years, lower primary and upper primary participated enthusiastically and paid homage and respects to the sacrifices made by the sons of the soil.
We are also really thankful to Dr Saira Zafar, Surgeon Lieutenant Commander- Navy for paying a visit and have an insightful discussion on the history of Defence Day with our students.In the end, our worthy School Head, Mam Sumera Savez addressed the students in the end and instilled the feelings of love, pride and patriotism in every student through her address. The school premises resonated with the slogans of Pakistan Zindabad.
