On August 08, 2025, Beaconhouse School System hosted the Leader in Me Core 3 Training at its PECHS campus. The full-day session, held from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, brought together all teachers of class 1 till 5 of  Beaconhouse Elementary Campus PECHS (Lower Primary and Upper Primary), along with the Heads and Coordinators. The training facilitated by Ms. Jaweria Sharjeel, marked a significant step forward after the successful implementation of Core 1 and Core 2. Core 3 emphasized creating a culture where students take ownership of their learning, responsibility, and personal growth. The session focused on these key areas: Student Portfolios – encouraging learners to track and reflect on their achievements.

Student-Led Conferences – empowering students to share their progress with parents and teachers.

Service Learning – linking academics with community service to nurture empathy and responsibility.

Social-Emotional Environment – building safe, supportive, and positive classrooms.

Student Voice – with the introduction of Habit 8 in the Leader in Me framework, giving students opportunities to be heard and recognized as active contributors in school culture.

Through hands-on activities and group tasks, participants explored practical strategies to bring these concepts to life in classrooms and the wider school environment. With the successful completion of Core 3 training, BECP has unlocked yet another milestone in the Leader in Me journey. From Core 1 to Core 3, each step has strengthened our vision of nurturing confident, responsible, and empowered learners. This marks the beginning of BECP’s transformation into a true Leader in Me School—where every child is a leader, every voice matters, and every classroom becomes a hub of growth and inspiration.
