The school celebrated Earth Hour with great enthusiasm, creating an inspiring and meaningful experience for both students and teachers. The entire campus was beautifully decorated with posters, charts, and creative artwork made by students. The decorations carried strong messages about saving energy, protecting the Earth, and living a green lifestyle. Everywhere we looked, there were reminders to care for our planet.
While observing the students, I felt a deep sense of happiness and pride. They were excited yet thoughtful, participating in all activities with great enthusiasm. When it was time for Earth Hour, we all switched off the lights together. It was an amazing moment to see the entire school go dark for such an important cause. Instead of using electricity, we continued our activities in a calm and peaceful environment. This simple act helped students understand how saving energy can make a big difference.
As I stood there watching everything, I felt inspired and hopeful. This small act of switching off the lights carried a powerful message—that even simple steps can bring positive change. Teachers engaged students in interactive discussions about energy conservation, recycling, and eco-friendly habits. Following the theme “Lighting the Way by Switching Off,” students actively participated by sharing ideas on how to save electricity at home and at school.
Students were very excited and took part in every activity enthusiastically. A recycling activity was also conducted, where students used materials such as plastic bottles and paper to explore how these items can be reused instead of being thrown away. They shared their own creative ideas, which made the session lively, interactive, and engaging. This activity helped students understand the importance of recycling and encouraged them to adopt responsible habits in their daily lives.
The Earth Hour celebration was not just an activity but a meaningful experience that left a lasting impact on me. It made me realize that together, we can “light the way” towards a better and greener future by making small but responsible choices every day.

My experience of “Lighting the Way by Switching Off” during Earth Hour at Beaconhouse Elementary Campus Block 3 PECHS was… Continue reading Earth Hour at Beaconhouse School System Elementary Campus Block 3 PECHS

[1

post-911","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized","entry
["GET
