For instance, if a child is throwing toys, they might be seeking attention or expressing frustration. By acknowledging their feelings and redirecting their energy, we can teach them more constructive ways to communicate. This approach not only resolves the immediate issue but also equips children with valuable life skills, such as problem-solving and emotional regulation.<br \/><br \/>So, how can we put gentle guidance into practice? Start by using positive language to reinforce good behaviour, I appreciate how you are sharing your toys,\u201d or *\u201cGreat job using your words to express your feelings.\u201d Set clear expectations and offer choices to give children a sense of control.
