The concept of human dignity, at its most basic, is the belief that every individual holds a special value that&#8217;s tied solely to their humanity. It has nothing to do with their class, race, gender, religion, abilities, or any other factor other than them being human.<\/p>\n<p>To acknowledge this, Global Dignity Day is celebrated globally on the third Wednesday of October, with additional events happening throughout the week or month of October.<\/p>\n<p>Like every year, Primary II Campus, P.E.C.H.S also celebrated Global Dignity Day from 17th-21st October with an aim to educate our students about the concept of dignity and inspire them to ensure dignity for everyone in their community.<\/p>\n<p>Students from all grades participated in the activities arranged for Global Dignity Day, which included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Making Dignity Day badges and cards<\/li>\n<li>Thematic Photography<\/li>\n<li>Short speeches on My Dignity Day Role Model<\/li>\n<li>Illustrating Dignity stories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students from KG had their morning assembly on Global Dignity Day, where our Kindergarteners shared wonderful one-liner messages on the topic. A lovely Dignity Day song followed this activity. Our young students also participated in the activity and distributed the badges they made, which the staff happily wore.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, students of Grade V prepared and presented an amazing play, promoting the idea of dignity and respect for all.
