“Environment is no one’s property to destroy; it’s everyone’s responsibility to protect.”- Mohith Agadi.
With the threat of climate change looming over our heads, we need to teach our younger generation about the importance of protecting Mother Earth and making the world a better place to live for our upcoming generations.
For this purpose, Primary II Campus, P.E.C.H.S, celebrated World Environmental Health Day from 26th to 30th September.
Students from Pre-Nursery till Grade V participated in the activities with full enthusiasm during the Art lessons. Each class group had a different activity:
● Pre-Nursery: Bubble Wrap Painting
● Nursery: Making Earth Sticks
● Kindergarten: Mushroom Crafts
● Grade I: Earth Chimes
● Grade II: Leaf Shading
The students enjoyed making a 3D earth globe, painting flowers, and doing some shading foliage, among other artistic projects.
For students of Grades III – V, a poster-making competition was arranged, which gave them a chance to show their creative skills for a good cause.
Besides these arts and crafts activities, our young and bright students also recorded messages for World Environmental Health Day and made commitments to save the planet Earth.
Students of Grade V also attended awareness lessons on World Environmental Health Day and were assigned to research and prepare presentations on the given tasks.
We must remember that the Earth is our home and remind our children that there’s no better place to live, so they should do their best to save the precious Earth.
