An old saying goes;

“A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart.”

Every person has a special place in their heart for their teachers. They have the power to turn the tables and transform the talent of an ordinary student into something extraordinary.
We learn from a teacher the value of a pen over a sword. For this reason, teachers are the gems of our society and kids look up to them as heroes. If the teachers vanished from the face of the planet, the entire world would descend into total chaos. There would be no engineers to design and construct new machinery. There would be no firefighters responding to fire emergencies and rescuing people. There would be no lawyers providing justice to the innocent. Most importantly, we would not be having any access to the internet, electricity, cell phones, or computers.
In this modern world, teaching is not an easy profession. It requires a lot of time to create lesson plans, grade papers and assignments, promote teamwork, and receive training on how to deal with various personality types. To pay tribute and respect to our dedicated teachers for their incredible efforts, Beaconhouse School Primary II Campus PECHS organized a teacher’s day event. The teachers were rewarded with a ton of appreciation, shields, gifts, and thank you notes by the headmistress.

Furthermore, a cake-cutting ceremony was arranged as a way of showing respect and our sincere gratitude to our wonderful teachers.

It is rightly believed that a nation can only rise, shine and change its entire destiny to the pinnacle of glory when they have outstanding teachers leading its youth. We must take a moment and thank our teachers that make their student’s dreams turn into reality and pass on their knowledge and lifetime experiences to the next generation.
