**My Oreo Cake and the Value of Discipline**

Recently, I baked an Oreo cake because I really love Oreos. I felt very excited as I had watched a recipe on YouTube and wanted to try it myself. I carefully followed each step and used measuring cups and spoons to ensure the right quantities. Following instructions is important because it helps us achieve good results.

I also waited patiently while the cake was baking. After it was ready, I helped my mother clean the kitchen. She always reminds me that cleaning is also an important part of baking. This taught me the value of offering a helping hand and being responsible at home.

Just like baking requires following steps, I also follow a daily routine. I wake up early, brush my teeth, get dressed, eat breakfast, go to school, study, play with my friends, have dinner, and go to bed on time. Following a routine shows discipline.

At Beaconhouse School System Elementary Campus, we are encouraged to be disciplined, organized, and helpful in our daily lives. Discipline helps us manage our time well so that we can study, play, and support others.

This baking experience taught me that being disciplined makes everything easier and better. It helps me stay organized and makes each day meaningful and successful.
