How AI Helps Me Learn

My name is Nihaan Sherali, and I am in Class IV-B at Beaconhouse Elementary School.
Have you ever had a question that you really wanted to know the answer to? I do!
Sometimes, when I am curious about something, I ask AI. That is why I chose the topic “How AI Helps Me Learn.”
AI stands for Artificial Intelligence. I think of AI as a learning helper because it can explain things, answer questions, and help me discover new information. AI can be a helpful learning tool. Recently, we were learning about flowering and non-flowering plantsin science. I wanted to learn
more about plants. So, I asked AI about horsetails and cycads.
I learned that horsetails are non-flowering plants.They do not produce flowers or seeds. Instead, they reproduce using spores. I also learned that cycads are ancient plants that have existed for millions of years and lived during the time of the dinosaurs! Horsetail Plant Cycad Plant
I was surprised by this because I had never heard some of these facts before. It made me want to ask even more questions about plants.
AI also helps me when I come across difficult words or questions. If I do not understand something, I can ask AI to explain it in simple words or give me an example. I can also use it to practise questions before a test.
However, I know that AI should help me learn, not do my work for me. I should still think for myself, read my books, listen to my teacher, and complete my own work. I also need to check information because AI can sometimes make mistakes. I enjoy using AI because it makes learning more exciting and interesting. It helps me explorethings beyond my classroom and encourages me to be curious. For me, AI is not a replacement for my teacher or my own thinking. It is a tool that helps me
learn, explore, and ask better questions.
