The 47th Anniversary of Beaconhouse School System.
“The philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of the government in the next.” – Abraham Lincoln.
Like every year, Primary II Campus, P.E.C.H.S celebrated the 47th anniversary of the Beaconhouse School System with great enthusiasm. A special Morning Assembly was held for Grade V’s, which started with the recitation of the Quran. This was followed b a play presented by Class V-B. Mohammad Hassan of Class V-B then told us all about the epic journey of Beaconhouse in the last 47 years to an international school network of great repute. It ended with a special cake-cutting ceremony with all the staff members of the school. Grade Vs were given a special treat as cake was sent to their classes for their snack, while the rest of the school received chocolates to celebrate.

On Thursday, 3rd November, we celebrated BSS’s birthday. Our school is now 47 years old.
For birthday celebrations, we all gathered in the assembly ground with the headmistress, Ms. Namrah. I was very excited about the event and it felt so good. Then we watched a play on Matilda, Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory, and the Witches from Roald Dahl’s book. The drama had two songs, the Oompa Loompa song from Willy Wonka, and ‘A little bit naughty,’ from Matilda presented by Class V-B. After that, our music teacher, Sir Shehzad, and the choir students sang the Seven habits song.
In the end, the Head Mistress cut the cake; she called out the Junior staff members, the teachers, and students from all the classes for the ceremony. I had fun that day.

Students of Grade 5 were called to see a presentation for a fantastic play on Roald Dahl. It was about a boy who did not like reading until he got a Roald Dahl book. As his mom reads it to him, he falls asleep and dreams about Matilda, the Witches, and Charlie and the chocolate factory. After the play with a few songs they called all the Junior staff and teachers together for a cake cutting ceremony.
A beautiful and delicious cake was ordered and the honor of cutting it was given to our amazing support staff, who help make the school a better place
May our school stand for more generations to come!
