Helping Hands and Heartwarming Smiles 😊

Yesterday was a great day at school. When I arrived, our class teacher came into the classroom at 8:15 am and started her lesson.

While the lesson was going on, one boy asked another boy sitting beside him, “Can you help me with these Math questions? They are very hard, and I don’t understand them.”

The other boy, who was taller, said arrogantly, “No, I will not help you.”

After some time, the first boy asked again for help. This time, the taller boy said, “I told you I won’t help , I am busy right now’. The first boy felt very sad and sat quietly.

I noticed what happened and saw that he looked upset and hopeless. I went to him and asked what had happened. He whispered everything to me, and I comforted him with a hug.

Then I went to the taller boy and said politely, “Helping a person who is in problem is a good deed.” After a short while, he realized his mistake. He apologized to the first boy, and they shook hands with a heartwarming smile.

I also helped the first boy finish his Math work. My teacher saw everything and appreciated my effort.

Now, the boy I helped and I have become very good friends. I feel proud that I could stand up for him and make a difference.
