Sports are beneficial for both a child’s mental and physical well-being. Not only can sports help to strengthen bones and tone muscles, but they can also help children improve their academic performance and teach them the value of teamwork. By following this legacy ,Beacon house Mandi Bahauddin used to arrange many sports events so that our students can flourish their mental as well as physical energies. For this purpose ,our cricket team has participated in Intra Cluster Zone 8 O level boy’s cricket tournament ;hosted by beaconhouse School system Mandi Bahauddin.
The first match held between Beaconhouse School System ,Jhelum and Beaconhouse School System Mandi Bahauddin.BSS Jhelum won the toss and sat a target of 128 runs,although it was a decent target in short term matches but BSS M.B Din chased the target by losing only five wickets.The players fought well and the win was destined to Mandi Bahauddin so it was achieved
The important figure of the match was a player named Sarmad Ranjha ,who took five wickets by bowling a crucial spell.
The win has sat a way to qaulify for Intra regional O level boys tournament ;hosted by Tipu Sultan Campus, Rawalpindi.The first quarter final played between WAH Cant and BSS M.B Din,in which WAHH Cant sat a target of 113 runs on board but luckily it was chased by BSS M.B.Din and won the match by four wicket.The winning moved us towards semi final with BSS Jamrud ,Pishawar Campus.BSS M.B.Din won it again and qualified for the final.
