This day also emphasizes the values of kindness, understanding, tolerance, and compassion, while defining dignity as the state or quality of being worthy of honor and respect.<\/p>\n<p>Global Dignity Day has its origins in 2005 when it was first established at the World Economic Forum. This annual event, along with its associated international non-profit organization, Global Dignity, was founded by three influential figures: Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, author and philosopher Professor Pekka Himanen from Finland, and American entrepreneur and charity founder\/CEO John Bryant.<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s youth should celebrate Global Dignity Day to cultivate empathy, respect, and cross-border understanding.
