Throughout history and across many cultures, insects have inspired artists and artisans. Moth larvae, bees and beetles have provided silk, wax, dyes and other art media. Some insects leave traces on their environment that artists capture, while others in effect become collaborators as their natural behaviors are incorporated into art.
\nOne of the oldest known examples of insect art is an engraving of a cricket carved into a fragment of bison bone found in a cave in southern France and thought to be about 14,000 years old.
\nMany artists hope their work with insects will raise awareness of the important roles the creatures play in the environment and provide a lens through which to reexamine our own influences on the natural world.<\/p>\n

If all mankind were to disappear, the world would regenerate back to the rich state of equilibrium that existed ten thousand years ago. If insects were to vanish, the environment would collapse into chaos.

To make and create a fasinating environment to learn about these tiny creatures, students of garde 2s were engaged into a project.
\nTeaching and learning through online had become full of fun when students of 2B and 2C started enjoying Visual Arts Real time session by exploring and learning about Insects<\/strong> through power point presentation and interesting videos.<\/p>\n

Their interest and quick response to the AFL activities during the lesson made it more interative. Students made their tiny loveable creatures with minute details.<\/p>\n
