Visual Arts Assembly
The best way to express your thoughts, creativity and ideas is through art. Art isn’t only a
subject, it’s a way of living. People don’t take arts as seriously as mathematics or science. What
they don’t know is, it is a crucial subject in one’s life.
To show the prominence of it, a special assembly was held. The whole school gathered in the
ground, marching and mumbling. Everyone was engrossed in their own affairs but as soon as
the conduction started all the gossiping came to a halt since everyone was awestruck. Eshal
Babar, as Farida Kalo and Tjwar as Pablo Picaso, dressed up as their roles, conducted the
assembly.after starting with the name of Allah, a roleplay was presented by class 7A. It was
about how most boys this age aren’t fond of art since they are inclined towards sports. The
character Shayyan was portraying all the kids who are not fond of art however few characters
elaborated the importance of arts and finally he was convinced that arts is a need in daily life.
The song about ‘colors’ was the cherry on top as everyone was enthusiastically delighted after
the performance. The assembly ended with the national anthem and everyone returned to their
classes, this time with a changed mindset of arts.
