“Don’t let time manage you, Manage your time.”
Amid continuous influence of modern technology on our social system, bringing unprecedented changes, a consequent investment in professional learning, becomes an imperative. This timely investment should not only allow to embrace a growth mindset as an educator but should also enhance learning outcomes for the students. Time management skills, in such an environment thus, becomes a cornerstone for embracing any such change. Time management is recognized as a crucial skill set that needs to be mastered by any professional in their field of work. It uplifts individuals in their professional and personal lives and gives them recognition for being timely and reliable.
BPPM always takes a leap in any such innovative programs. Considering its importance, PWD Primary and Middle sections recently organized a professional development workshop on “TIME MANAGEMENT” for their teachers.
Senior Mistress Ms. Faryal Zahra Hamdani conducted the educative and productive session for the teaching staff of BPPM.
The rationale behind this workshop was to make teachers aware of effective time management and its key role for achieving goals, reducing stress, and improving productivity.
Different activities were conducted in today’s session, which will certainly help teachers to learn multiple tips and techniques to make their classroom teaching and learning effective. In group activities they identified the common time wasters and explored and learned various strategies for managing interruptions. It was indeed heartening to see teachers’ enthusiastic participatation in all the activities. Session concluded with participants learning many good habits that can promote effective time management.
After the interactive and interesting workshop, teachers also shared their positive and constructive feedback.
