The Primary Section of PWD Primary and Middle came alive with vibrant colours, joyful laughter, and cultural pride as Jashn-e-Rang-o-Virsa was celebrated on Wednesday, 18th February. The school grounds transformed into a lively cultural arena where traditions were not only remembered but beautifully relived.

Students arrived dressed in stunning traditional attire, representing the rich and diverse cultures of Pakistan’s provinces. Their colourful dresses reflected pride, love, and deep respect for their heritage. The excitement and enthusiasm were evident as every child became a true ambassador of culture, showcasing unity in diversity.

The highlight of the celebration was the revival of traditional games that brought immense joy and excitement. Students actively participated in Bander Killa, Kokla Chapaki, Ankh Macholi, Rassa Kashi (Tug of War), Langra Pali, Stapu, Ludo, and Carrom Board. The grounds echoed with laughter and cheer as these timeless games strengthened teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship among students.

The event was brilliantly organized and executed by our dedicated P.E. teachers, Ms. Sajida Zahid and Sir Qamar, whose proactive efforts ensured smooth coordination and maximum student engagement. Their passion and commitment played a vital role in making the event a grand success.

Adding inspiration and grace to the occasion, our esteemed Head, Ms. Saima Faheem, led from the front by wearing beautiful cultural attire. Her gesture motivated the entire staff, and the BPM team also embraced the spirit of the day by dressing in traditional outfits, creating a truly authentic and festive environment.

Jashn-e-Rang-o-Virsa was more than just a celebration—it was a meaningful learning experience that connected students with their roots. It reminded everyone of the importance of preserving traditions and celebrating cultural identity with pride. The day concluded with happy hearts, colourful memories, and a renewed appreciation for the beauty of our heritage.
