Health Advisory for the BPPM Community

Stay Safe, Stay Hydrated

A seasonal viral illness is currently circulating in both twin cities, and members of the BPPM community are advised to take extra care during this time. While such viral infections are common, simple preventive measures can make a significant difference in maintaining good health.

Prioritise Hydration

Staying well-hydrated is essential. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Fluids help strengthen the immune system and assist the body in fighting infections. Warm drinks such as herbal teas and clear soups are also highly recommended.

Focus on Healthy Nutrition

A balanced diet plays a key role in recovery and prevention. Include fresh fruits rich in vitamins, especially citrus fruits, apples, and bananas. Nuts and seeds provide essential nutrients and energy, while light, homemade soups help soothe the body and keep you nourished.

Rest and Self-Care

Adequate rest is just as important as diet. Avoid overexertion, get enough sleep, and listen to your body. If symptoms such as fever, sore throat, or fatigue persist, consult a healthcare professional promptly.

Community Responsibility

We encourage everyone in the BPPM community to look out for one another. Practising good hygiene, maintaining a healthy routine, and sharing accurate information can help keep our community safe and well.

Let us continue to prioritise health and well-being together. Wishing everyone good health and a speedy recovery for those feeling unwell.

Stay safe. Stay healthy…..
