There is a tradition in every school that a farewell is planned as a formal occasion whereby out going class of the school bid goodbye to their teachers and the principal who have been part of their beautiful school life since the beginning. To make this event memorable, lovely juniors of grade 7 have organized a grand send off to the outgoing batch of 8s 2022 in Beaconhouse Middle School PWD Branch. The Principal and the Coordinator thoughtfully selected the venue keeping in mind the convenience and approach of the Golf Club Banquet Hall. The entrance and the hall were beautifully embellished with wall mirrors, flowers and placards. The girls were dressed up in long maxis in vibrant colours floating across the hall just like fairies and boys looking handsome in formal attires.
The highlights of the program included; a funny skit by the witty students of grade 7-B depicting a class having back benchers and nerdy students in a humorous way, an emotional poem by Maam Aroma befitting the occasion followed by a hilarious poem in Urdu presented in her usual bubbly style by Maam Beanish. Dance performances by collaborated efforts of 7s and 8s stole the show with well coordinated moves of our young talent.
Towards the end of the evening, lot of emotions and mixed feelings were on the display when well suited titles were given away to the students of 8s by grade 7s and 8s away titles to their teachers punctuated with humorous remarks and pleasantries. Maam Saima Faheem presented Certificates and souvenirs to the outgoing students. Feeling sad and nostalgic in their ‘Thank You Note’ they were grateful to the institution where they spent the most formative period of their lives. Indeed it was a touching speech. All of them parted after taking the blessings and good wishes of their teachers and friends.
